Tonight saw the night of Racing begin with "Ellisha" in the drivers seat of her car. After a few repairs and a good Thursday night of practice at Ptbo Spdwy, she felt ready. Ellisha has recently learned to drive stick and is learning the strengths and the weakness of her Nissan.Unfortunately for Ellisha and a young driver: new to Ministocks!,their night of racing ended in the first Heat.Ellisha sure was givin'er when the car came loose in corner 4 and she over corrected, which brought her Nissan right into the outside car;sending Car 41 of Steven Slot into the wall. Both kids are ok.Ellisha and I walked down to apologize and try to explain the WHYs.Both cars will need work ,both kids will be sore tomorrow. Sorry again Steven,we hope everything works out,if u need us call.
Dorothy Gerrow was leading the pack the Thunder Car Action at the beginning of her race when an over excited Th #66 jumped the green which sent the cars into a tight packed race for corner 1.#40 Beaty ended up on the wall ,#7 Sinnopoli lost the rear quarter body, and Dorothy had to put her car on trailer. The ambulance came out for Beaty, Sinnopoli ripped the damaged body parts off and made it back out to finish the race.Dorothy is ok but again she will be sore tomorow.
Congradulations to Jack Hannah Car #27 Ministocks who started the Feature on pole and stayed there to claim tonights Trophy and the cash.(trophy pending upon delivery)
I don't know what to say,,,Hart in his # 3 had a good run in and out of corner 2 and the line,,with a little lean and a wauble on the #4 Car as they met in the straight stretch out of the 2nd corner.then THIS!! Slick Move?? But I guess this was prime example of when to let off so someone can "gather it up",,Hmmm, "A Gentlemen's Move."Now who would think to try the old style of class in a race car..!!Not tonight Kid, we hope you are ok.
